Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin has been an actress across Canada and New Zealand for over a decade. Paquin is a native of New Zealand, born in Wellington but born and raised in Winnipeg was first seen in the acting world in The Piano. At age 11 she was one of the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full title is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was a Canadian native New Zealand actress. As as a young girl, she was awarded an Academy Award for best support actress. Paquin moved to New Zealand from Canada as an infant and was raised in the country. When she answered an open audition call, she won the role in the role of Flora McGrath, the daughter of a mute Scottish piano player who moves to New Zealand in mid-19th-century to be married. The actress was just nine, and she had no acting experience. As a teenager, she moved from New Zealand to United States. Paquin played the lead role in the film Fly Away Home in 1996 and had a minor part as Jane Eyre when she was still a toddler. Paquin was Frankie Addams from a television film adaptation of Carson McCullers's novels The Member of the Wedding (1997). Paquin played a minor role in Princess of Spain Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997. She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as her character of the polexia Aphrodisa character as part of Almost Famous (2000).
