Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many skills, such as being able perform, direct and produce plays, as well as write them teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is the child of a Briton, and a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. When she was a girl, she appeared in commercials of various kinds. Anna was able to move to Toronto in Ontario to pursue her acting. In the decade that followed, she eventually made the move to Los Angeles. Anna met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's workshop in Los Angeles, and they became engaged in 2009. Anna has since converted to Judaism in the year before, and Seth Cooperman were married in December 2010 in Fredericton.
