
The third album of his untitled debut is close to completion, Ky-mani certainly is a superstar on his own. Ky-mani was born of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) as well as Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). He was born on February 26 1977 in Falmouth. Ky-mani comes from an East African term meaning adventurous travelers, and as a man living in the spirit of his name Each album or tour has been an adventure. The journey of his musical career began in 1999 with The Journey. He was an eclectic musician that was looking for his own musical niche. In 2001, Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae record was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey have been well received across the world. This solidified Ky-mani's status as an independent musician. Ky-Mani is well-known for his unique blend of hip-hop and R&B mixed with contemporary jazz.
